     Gender-Equal Scripture Reading

What is an appropriate biblical reading that avoids sexist traditions? Is an Old Testament reading necessary in an Episcopal ceremony? Would something from "Song of Songs" be too riske?

No rush.

Thanks!

The Song of Songs is the second most popular reading at Christian weddings.

So, read on!
