I need some advice please about catholic interfaith marriage.
My new finace is a christian and does not want to convert catholic, he saids he will not be convertinganytime soon, though we are deeply in love I am a converted catholic NOT ACradle Catholic, should this matter as much my family is making a huge emphasison this and yet there is alot of things that I disagree with Catholic faith on still even though I was baptised Catholic. My question is does it really matter if my finace converts or not all I keep hearing is if he loves me he will but pushy religious views on another is wrongI waited for this man my whole life and I feel if heleaves me over this it would be a sad thing.. Does it really matter? Thanks Catholic convert here.

You are wise to seek advice. An interchurch marriage can work well and be happy.
In our marriage, Denny is Catholic and I am Protestant. We attend each other's churches and participate as much as we can. We have never tried to convert each other, just accept that there are some different faith traditions we will never agree on and let it go at that. Our faith in Jesus is what holds us and our love together.
