     Traditional Church wedding

My fiance really wants a traditional church wedding, but we have been living together and we don't know if the church will allow us to get married. We belong to an assemblies of God church and honestly I'm not too familiar with their policies. We don't have to have the wedding in the church he actually belongs to but he is dead set on having our wedding in a church, performed by a pastor and not a justice of the peace. Any help or advice on this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you

Since you're not familiar with marriage policies of the Assemblies of God churches and we aren't either, we suggest you talk with your pastor.

Most churches will go ahead and marry you because marriage is supposed to bring you into a deeper relationship with God.

You'll never know unless you ask! Smile
