I just recently posted a question about having close friends walk before you at your vow renewal ceremony and I got my answers. Would it be appropriate to have 3 women and 3 men that are closet to the husband and wife to stand in front to witness at a closer view? Kind of like bridesmaids and a maid of honor? ( These 3 people have been through a lot in our marriage, helped us with advice and such). And answers would be great appreciated. Thank you so much !!

Re: 10 Year Wedding Vow Renewal Attendants

No, as we mentioned in our last post, bridal attendants are for weddings and are not needed at vow renewal ceremonies. The ceremony shouldn't seem like a wedding and, since a renewal isn't a legal service, there are no witnesses needed.
Friends aren't typically an integral part of a marriage and, as such, not usually included in a vow renewal. If you'd like to honor these people, perhaps consider writing a little something in their honor and speaking about them during the service when mentioning the strength of your marriage and how the two of you came to this point in your relationship with their help. I agree. Attendants are not necessary and your event would appear to be wedding--major no-no. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
