     Brown dress for vow renewal

My husband and I are having a vow renewal ceremony in a little white chapel. It is very informal with only 8 guests attending. Afterwards, we are all going to a local cafe for the celebration. I really want to wear a brown dress since it would match my wedding colors from 2 years ago. Would a brown dress be appropriate? Please let me know if this attire would be appropriate for an informal vow renewal ceremony. Thanks in advance!

Miranda :)

Your attire seems fine, however, it seems a bit too soon for a vow renewal. These are typically hosted for benchmark anniversaries or after the couple has been through particularly difficult time in their married life.

Yeah I know it is too early for a vow renewal. I had posted a previous question about this and my question was answered. Its a little bit different scenario, but the person that replied said it is appropriate. Thanks!!

Just make sure this isn't a wedding dress and that this isn't a wedding. With only 8 guests, there shouldn't be too much of a negative vibe.

Please no registering or prewedding parties.
