Do you have your close friends walk down before you for a vow renewal ceremony?
No one in my family or my husband's family has ever planned a vow renewal ceremony, and I would like to have one when we reach our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I am so unsure on how the ceremony works, but I have been reading alot on this site and have gotten alot of answers to my questions. One question I am unsure about is: Do you ask your close family and friends to walk before you on your ceremony? Any reply's would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much :)

No, there is usually no processional with a vow renewal, although sometimes a wife will ask her children to walk with her to meet the husband. I agree. And, with this ceremony, the only strict rule is that it shouldn't appear to be a wedding. So, you can invent elements to include your guests. It really can be a very sweet, inclusive event. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
