Is white appropriate for renewel dress?

We plan renewing our vows next summer for our 10 year anniversary. I'm not sure if I want to wear my original dress. If I decide not to, I want to start trying to figure out what I want to wear. Is white still appropriate or is there an unwritten rule about the proper color to wear?

There really aren't any rules with regard to renewing wedding vows so if you want to wear your original wedding dress or a new white dress then go right ahead. I would leave off the headpiece and veil since those are very formal and signify a first time bride.

Choose colors and styles to suit the formality of the affair as well as the season.
