My husband and I would like to renew are vows on our 10th anniversary in November, however our anniversary lands in the middle of the week, can we have the renewal ceremony on the weekend before or after? Or is it best on the day of? We got married at the courthouse in the middle of the week and could not have all our friends and family there. Also can we have anyone our choosing officiate the ceremony?

There are no rules governing where and when you should have your vow renewal ceremony. Of course, it's always nice to be able to celebrate the "day of" but, if your date falls on a weekday and that is not convenient for you and your family then have the celebration when it is convenient.
Since you are already married there is no leagal paperwork you need to complete and anyone can officiate the ceremony. If you want a religious experience then contact a minister of your faith to ask what they require. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I know that it will be alot easier on our families if we had it on a weekend but now the decision is do I have it the weekend before my 10th anniversary or the weekend after? I am leaning toward the weekend before but if I do I want it known that not only are we renewing our vows but that we are celebrating the 10 years too. What is the best way to do this? Also when do I send the invites out if the ceremony will be in November?
Thanks!!!

All of this information will be printed on your invitations so your guests will undertand that this is a vow renewal to celebrate your 10th wedding anniversary.
Send your invitations out 6 to 8 weeks before the event. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
