     Private vow renewal

My husband and I are going to renew our wedding vows on our 10th anniversary. I am wondering if I am wrong in only wanting our children, parents, siblings, one set of close friends and my husband's God parents. I would like to have a little dinner afterwards; nothing fancy, just a casual dinner. Then, the following day, my husband and I plan on going away for a few days and celebrating. Please let me know what you think of this. I dont want to hurt anyone's feelings. We both have huge families.

Vow renewals are usually small, intimate events, so you're fine.

I agree. It appears to me that you are planning a very appropriate vow renewal, that your focus is right on.
