     Reaffirmation vs vow renewal

My brothers and I are in the process of planning a surprise fiftieth wedding celebration for my parents. In wording the invitations do I use the word "reaffirmation" or "vow renewal"? They had a formal wedding fifty years ago. Our pastor will perform the ceremony at our church. Also, could you suggest an appropriate poem and scripture for during the ceremony and a toast for the party to follow in the fellowship hall. My mother survived a serious illness and we thought the timing was appropriate for this celebration!

Just to clarify...the ceremony is also a surprise?
