My husband and I married were married at the Justice of peace before he was deployment overseas. . My family did not know until we got back form the courthouse. No one was there but the court house officiate, 1 witness (unrelated), and us. I never had anything close to a wedding. Not even a dress. We wore casual clothes. We will be married for 10 years soon and would like to renew our vows. I am not clear on what our options are. I have read plenty of posts stating that it will not be appropriate to have a formal wedding. However I read this post that stated it was okay. Can you please explain to me what the different is? I DO NOT want a wedding for gift. I would like to share with family and friends our special day... I would like to renew our vows the right way. Please help.
