     Renewing Vows Processional

My husband and I are renewing our wedding vows in the Catholic Church and we want to include our daughter who is 4. My question is, should she walk up before me or should we walk up together. There won't be any flower girls or bridesmaids - just the two of us. Also should she carry flowers.

Thanks for all your help and time.

Dear Dsmith,

Since this isn't a wedding the processional is optional. In fact, you two probably should walk together so she doesn't appear to be a flower girl.

It is a positive to include your daughter.

Best wishes,
