Hello I'm new at this i just need some help me and my hubby has been married for 8 years now we are very happy we have 3 boys together.we had to get married my a judge because we was living in sin together and i just had a nice dress and my dad was just there.me and my hubby like to renew are vow july 21 2007 at are church but we like to have a big wedding me wearing a white wedding dress and having bridal and having a wedding cake.i just need help about if we can do it that was.we will have his side of family there my side family there plus some of are church family there too please help.Frown

Dear Littlestar,

There is a difference between a wedding, which is what you want to plan, and a vow renewal. You are a wife, not a bride. So, a big wedding dress and a wedding 'like' ceremony wouldn't be proper.

Please read about vow renewal etiquette. If you plan a vow renewal that appears to be a wedding, more than likely it will be viewed negatively. It may be embarrassing. So, plan carefully.
