     Renewing at 1 year?

My husband and I will have been married 1 year on 10/14/07. Recently we have gone through a serious testing of our marriage. We are moving forward and want to renew our vows on our anniversary to reaffirm our commitment to one another. Is it too soon? It would be just ourselves and our pastor and his wife. Very low key. Is there a set time period before you can renew your vows?

What you're planning seems very appropriate for the two of you, especially since you have no guests. That is usually where the issues come into play.

Congratulations - the first year is the hardest!
