I am thinking of asking my husband of 2 1/2 years to marry me again. The first wedding was very casual, just me, the groom and 2 of my friends for witnesses. We are now very much in love but had some hard times along the way. I would like to honor and show our love to all friends and family, and him. We never really had any vows and the marriage just doesn't feel real. I am ready to have vows we both can look back on. Just need advice if it is a good thing to do or should we wait untill after we have been married 5 years? We didn't have a ceremony and would love to have one - nothing big just a ceremony for our love for one another. Is it best to do it on the same day we got married on the first time.

What you are considering is a vow renewal. This ceremony can be done at anytime during a marriage. Please review these two pages for more information.
