Wearing originial wedding dress for vow renewal.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and renewing our vows with a reception afterwards. I want to wear my original wedding dress. I know this is acceptable, but do I need to somehow let my guest know that I am wearing my original gown or just let them figure it out. Also would it be acceptable for me to walk down the aisle by myself or have my 19 yr son walk with me? Thanks I want it to be special but tasteful.

Congratulations on 15 happy years as well as still being able to fit into your original wedding dress! Wink

There is no need to announce your attire. Let the guests be surprised and, of course, you can tell them the day of the ceremony.

Your son may escort you or you and your husband can enter through opposing doorways, coming together in the middle.
