Wording invitations for vow renewal held in Hawaii
Ok, I have no idea where to begin on my questions. Here's the deal.
We got married in Hawaii 9 years ago. It was just the two of us. We plan on returning next year to renew our vows on our 10th anniversary. We want to bring all of our family - we're paying for everyone, and yes we know, it's expensive. About 30 people. My questions are these.....
1. How should I word the save the date cards and invitations if we are paying for the trip? Do I put anything about "your airfare and hotel are paid for, etc" on the save the date cards?
2. How do I word the viw renewal invitations?
I know all the etiquette regarding not having it appear to be a wedding. That's not what we're planning on doing. I had a beautiful wedding already. Now we just want to renew our vows and show our family and our children the beautiful place where we got married and started our life together. We want something simple to celebrate our 10 years together.
Thanks for your help!

Dear Milamcclain,
Congratulations!
You could just verbally invite everyone. This way there would be no confusion. If you wanted to send out save the dates, you could state to please save the date for your vow renewal. At the bottom or on a separate note, you could state that you are paying for their air fare and lodging.
Your invitations are similar to a wedding invitation except that you are inviting your guests as husband and wife and the word wedding is replaced with vow renewal. These definitely don't need to be formal unless your event is.
