     Wording vow renewal invitations

My husband and I will soon be celebrating our 30th Anniversary by renewing our vows. Of course we have had a lot of questions on proper etiquette. Thanks to you web site all of our questions have been answered, except one. I have read almost every post on Vow Renewal, and have yet to come across a question regarding how to announce the reception following on the invitations. Is it considered a reception, or a party? Should it be stated Anniversary Reception following, Anniversary Party following or something else?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Again, thanks for this wonderful web site.

I'm glad we can help.

Vow renewals are usually done for anniversaries and are informal events. The invitations would also be informal, and not like a wedding invitation. These are more like anniversary party invitations.
