My parents are renewing their vows. They have been married 40 years, will renew in august (actual anniversary is in janaury). I sent them anniversary presents already in january, and will be present for the renewal. Do I get a present as well? My siblings and I were wondering about that.
PS will also be celebrating my nieces B-day (8/3/1999), my brother's wedding anniversay & my 40th b-day (both on 8/10), and my sister's wedding anniversary (8/7). Do I bring presents for everybody here????? All of this is occuring I guess on 8/13/05 a little foogy about the details. I am not rich and am flying out of state.
PSS if I ever get married it will NOT be in August!!!!

Re: [floridahawk333] gifts for renewal of vows

Dear Stressed in August,
Gifts for renewals are optional. These are not considered a gift giving situation. However, for such a milestone anniversary, I would give something. Perhaps all of you could pool your money to give them a day at a spa or something similar. It doesn't have to be anything too expensive.
It would be best not to bring the other gifts to this event. All of those events are separate and involve different people.
