     minister or not...?

My husband and I are renewing our vows on 09/17/04 and I'm just wondering... I keep "reading" that for a renewal of vows a minister from the church is not required, however, when we first married we had our ceremony in a park not far from our home and we were married by a Justice of the Peace - I would like to have a minister marry us this time around, reason being we never had our rings blessed the first time... I wonder if I should even approach our minister and ask him because now I'm not sure if he would do it...? What do you think?

Most ministers will perform a vow renewal ceremony so please ask your minister.
