When I go tmarried we went to the court house and just my parents, my 2 grandmothers and only his sister was there. Is okay for our one year anniversary that we renew our vows with a traditional wedding.

Sure, your one year wedding anniversary is a great time for renewing wedding vows. You can have almost everything you'd have with a traditional wedding, except you wouldn't be "given away" by your dad.

If you'd like to have a religious ceremony this time around speak to a professional in your church or locate a non-denominational minister and ask for their help to plan the ceremony.

Congratulations!
