2nd Marriage for Groom, 1st for Bride with Child

My fiance and I are planning our wedding. This will be his second time down the asile (divorced with 2 kids) and my first wedding, but I have a child (not his) and have never been married. What is the proper etiquette for the wedding? Should it be small or can we have the big wedding that we are planning? Some of my family thinks small, but I want big. I want the day to be mine! What is acceptable?

You can have the wedding you and your fiance want.
