Appropriate colour and style of 2nd wedding dress

Considering this is my second wedding, although my fiance's first, what is the proper etiquette with regard to choosing style or colour for my dress. Please note that I am under 40 and will have my two daughters as flower girls. I don't want to look like the mother-of-the-bride would dress.
