Appropriate to toss bouquet and garter at second marriage reception

Hello,

I am planning my second marriage wedding reception and am wondering if it is appropriate to toss the bouquet and garter? There will be several older, more traditional guests and I just wondering what is appropriate.

Thanks.

Dear dpp,

It isn't necessary or obligatory to toss them any time. Those are old fashion traditions that really have no ties to our lives these days, but some still enjoy them. So, it is always a choice. But usually, we do not include many of the traditional reception elements in the second reception.

Best wishes,
