Can I bustle train for entire event?

This is my third wedding and I'm hesitant about the train on my dress. I'm hearing mixed answers as to whether a train is appropriate, and may consider keeping it bustled the entire time, even during the ceremony. Would this be appropriate, or look odd?

I don't know about how it would look, but a train is fine. The reason you are hearing mixed opinions is because until very recently encore brides didn't wear trains.
