Children in second wedding walking down the aisle

Hi,

We need to get our 4 children who are participating in our wedding (my 2nd, his 3rd) down the aisle. My 10-yr old son will be escorting me. Is it appropriate to have his 15 yr old son act as bestman, and our 14- and 18-yr old daughters act as bridesmaid and MOH?

What if his 18-yr old daughter walks with him, followed by his son and my daughter (15 and 14), and finally my son and me--only a few feet apart?

What if we don' want them walking formally? Except for my son and me, any other thoughts as to getting us all down the aisle? My fiance suggests magic.

Such dilemmas!! Thanks.

Your fiance sounds like a great guy! When planning a wedding, a sense of humor is key.

The bestman doesn't usually walk down the aisle but stands at the front with the groom. None of your kids don't have to walk down the aisle. They could walk out through the front doors as your groom will to meet you at the front of the church or venue.

The 14 year old girl could be a junior bridesmaid and the 18 year old the maid of honor.

Happy Planning!
