     Escorting down the aisle

I am getting married to a man with two sons from a previous marriage. Both of whom I am very close to. This is my second marriage also, and my father and I do not speak. The oldest son will be my future husbands best man, would it be inappropriate for me to ask the younger to escort me down the aisle? They are 15 and 19.

Dear Second Time,

That would be a wonderful gesture. This is a statement of inclusiveness. Of course you would want to ask the 15 year old if he would like to do this. Some young men can be very shy.

Best wishes,
