What it the proper wording on an invitation when remarrying an ex-husband? They are getting married in a church and the bride said it is a remarriage or a renewal of vows, (aren't these two different things) so I'm not sure how to word the invitation. Thanks!

It is a wedding ceremony for a couple who have been previously divorced and now getting remarried?

That is correct, they were married, got divorced and are now remarrying each other. I am printing their invitations and she asked me to please find the correct wording.

This would be treated as if they were marrying for the first time, unless they are hosting a very informal affair. Then the language could be very informal as well, mixing in language that points to the fact that they were once married to each other. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
