Proper wording for inviting friends to the Wedding Dance only.

This is my 3rd/his 2nd wedding and we wanted to keep the wedding costs down. We will be inviting our families and a few close friends to the wedding ceremony and dinner at a hotel. We would like to invite other friends to the dance only. What would the appropriate wording be for the invitations that will be going to our friends that would be attending the dance only?

Since it would be impolite to invite guests to only part of your reception, we cannot guide you with your wording here. Imagine getting an invitation to only part of an event. It's like suggesting to the second group that they aren't good enough to be served a meal. Plan a reception where you can comfortably host all of your guests for the entire party. Remember that everyone invited to the wedding should also be invited to the reception.
