     Remarriage to a former husband

My ex-husband and I have been separated for 5 months and divorced for 1 month. He has made leaps and bounds with counseling, etc. IF I decided to remarry him in the far future, is it appropriate to have another wedding?

I assume the question is more what type of wedding would be appropriate. In my opinion, a small ceremony with close family and a few friends would be the best way to handle the situation should it arise. Instead of a traditional reception maybe just take the guests out to dinner to celebrate the event.

Thank you! I never thought about just taking them out for dinner. A small ceremony sounds perfect.

You should definitely make reservations ahead though. Find a beautiful place that might offer a private room. Then consider offering an abreviated menu from the chef's selections. Offering a limited menu and ordering ahead of time may save you some money. Make an appointment with the restaurant's manager and find out what's available. Even a very small reception can be done elegantly if planned well.
