Save the date cards appropriate for second marriage
Our marriage will be the second marriage for both of us. We are planning a civil ceremony on a Friday at the courthouse, with only our children and parents present. The next day we will host a dinner at a local restaurant for the rest of our family and close friends. Is it appropriate to send Save the Date cards or magnets inviting them to dinner to celebrate our marriage that took place the day before? If so, how early should those be sent out and is it OK to use "Mr and Mrs"?
I was planning on sending wedding announcements the day of our marriage to all of our family and friends.

Dear Save the Date,
The best option for you would be to send reception invitations sent 6-8 weeks before. Save the date cards are usually used very early (months) to alert people to save the date for an upcoming wedding. It would not be proper to use Mr. and Mrs. before the wedding.
