G'day, I need some help with the guest list etiquette for my 2nd wedding. My folks what me to invite 6 of there "friends" to my wedding, I have known them for many years, but I only ever see them if/when we see each other at my folks place, other than that I have no contact with them. I say thats "hosh posh" 7 won't invite them. What do you people think?

You are in control of your guests list if you are paying. In fact, these days parents really shouldn't be inviting even if they are paying. But, out of courtesy for them, as brides, we allow some if they are.
