Should father walk me down the aisle for second wedding?

This is my 2nd marriage and my fiance's 1st! We are having a short wedding with one attendant and a larger reception. My dress will be mid-calf length, and not white; keeping wedding very simple, but elegant. My parents want us to run off and get married but, this is his first and, his mother wants a wedding, reception and is willing to pay for half. Should I ask my father to walk me down the aisle or should I walk alone? I do not have an children. Do my fiance and I walk down together? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks

Dear Davnik,

It is very generous of your fiance's mother to contribute.

The wedding can be any type of wedding you wish. You can walk down alone or escorted by anyone of your choosing.

Typically, your fiance would be at the altar waiting for you to walk down the aisle.

Best wishes,
