Thank you for your time. I really appreciate any and all words of advice. My problem is; this will be the 2nd wedding for both of us. Our date is the 8th of Sep 07. I have 3 kids (16B, 13G, 11B) He has 1 (10B). Just recently my kids anI moved into his house. Everything is working out wonderful. We just had plans drawn up for a new 3 bedroom addition so we will all fit :) I started looking for a small, cozy church for our wedding to be held and I found the church of my dreams! The church costs alot to rent for 3 hours (thats the min) and we were thinking that maybe we should find another facility that will be cheaper? I got to thinking that with the addition to the house, a wedding, reception and honeymoon, there is no way we are going to be able to afford it all. Here is the question...Should I ask him if he wants to postpone the wedding? or should we just make it more affordable? I just dont know what to do? Thanks for reading this. Kari

Have you sought counseling? With the very little bit of information you've provided it sounds like there needs to be some more communication. Don't be left guessing about what the issue may be. Get it all out in the open now. You both already know what it feels like to have a marriage end so you won't want to have to go through that again, and neither will your kids.
