I am getting married for the 2nd time and I was wondering this question. My last name is still the same from my first marriage (because I did not want to have to change all of my accounts). My soon to be second husband does not want my last name that I have right now on the wedding invitation. He wants my maiden name.
Please help!

In order for the invitation recipient to understand who is sending the invitation you should use the name that you go by now. Perhaps you could compromise and use a hyphen between your maiden name and your married name. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

So it should read maiden name-current name?

This is up to you and your fiance to decide but, yes, that would be appropriate. However your curent name will still be used so please discuss this with the groom. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
