I'm at a loss and don't know what to do. I've been married two times before. The first we eloped and 2 years later we divorced because he was abusive. The second - we were married for 4 1/2 years and he ran off with my best friend. Now here I am, reluctant at best to get married again. I don't want to do anything wrong, however I don't want to jip my fiance out of what he deserves. We're only 30 and I don't know how to go about planning a church wedding. Any suggestions?

Dear Songgrl:
It depends, in what church you are planning to marry? Some chuches require an annulment or have other prerequisites. Check with the misinter, Rabbi, Priest, etc for specific information on their particular parish requirements.
No worries...go to www.gettingremarried.com for help planning a second (or third) wedding. There is an entire page on religion there. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

Thank you so much. I will be getting re-married in a Methodist church. The only pre-requisite is that I be separated/divorced for at least one year. That has already passed. I will look at the website you gave me in hopes of finding my answers.
