     Wedding party with kids

Hi

I have 2 girls ages 8 and 10. My soon to be husband has 1 girl age 11 and 1 boy age 7. We only want to have our kids in our wedding party as this is a second marriage for the both of us. Would it be acceptable to have his daughter stand on his side with him and his son or would it be better to have all 3 girls at my side? If we could keep things even at 2 per side it would look nicer. We also thought it would be nice to have his children stand with him and mine with me. We are just not sure if it is appropriate to have his daughter at his side. Thanks for your help.

Dear NicReNat,

This is fine. She would be dressed the same as your girls.

Best wishes,
