This is a second marriage for both of us(after a very long period of being single). We are in our fifties. I have three children, 13,16,19. His are grown and married and not able to attend. We are going to the courthouse to get married next week, but I don't know what to wear. Also,I don't know if I should have flowers and if I should get him and my kids boutonnierres and flowers(for my daughter,16). If so, what should I get?

Re: [npsil] What do I wear to my courthouse second wedding?

Dear Courthouse Wedding,
This is entirely your choice. You can wear what you wish and include flower if this is what you want.
Many will wear a nice dress suit and carry a modest bouquet. Your children can just carry one flower if you wish. This can be simple or formal.
