My fiance and I have been together for 4 years. I have a 7 yr old son from a previous relationship. My fiance is the only dad he's ever known. (he even calls him dad) My father hasn't been in my life since I was little; and I don't want him at the wedding. I don't really have anyone to walk me down the aisle. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to have my son walk me down the aisle and give me away? Or does an adult have to do this?

Re: [weddedmom] can a 7yr old give the bride away?

Absolutely, and how very sweet that will be! Not a dry eye in the house. Your son cannot be a witness though since he is under age so be sure to have your witnesses set up and do check with the chirch (if you're having a church wedding) to be sure they are on board with the plans.
