I am getting married for a second time, my fiancee's first. Our friends are throwing us an informal enagement party. Will be having an intimate destination wedding with just the two of us. At a later as yet to be determined date we will have a post ceremony reception with a small gathering of close friends and family. What should we do if people ask us about a gift registry? Is it appropriate to register again? And if we do, can we do a honeymoon registry and a regular one as well? And how do we inform people? Through word of mouth? Website? Thanks. Susan-Los Angeles

Susan:
It's perfectly acceptable to register for gifts or for a honeymoon for a second wedding. You just won't include this information in the reception invitation. Word of mouth and websites are a great way to let people know where you're registered.
Please note that an engagement party is not a gift giving event like a weding reception.
