groom's tux for second marriage

2nd marriage.. 11:30 am ceremony. What style is tux is appropriate for that time of day? Should the groom wear a matching or contrasting vest?

Dear Groom's Attire,

A tuxedo is evening formal attire. A stroller or cutaway is formal daytime attire. The cutaway is more formal. It is his choice to choose a matching or contrasting vest.
