     guest list for second wedding

Hi! I am new to the site and love it already. I was first married in 1992 and divorced recently becuase my husband sexually abused our oldest daughter and her best friend while having an affair with my best friend.

I have met a wonderful man, considerably younger but completely hororable. The girls love him, I love him, he loves and takes care of us, something I never had. Our wedding is July 7, 2006.

The problem I have is this. My mother wants me to elope. His family wants a wedding. We are having a wedding. I dont know who to invite in my family. Do I go ahead and invite the whole family and extended family? there are some from california and all over the place. We live in Northern maine. We dont want a huge wedding and it will be semiformal.

Dear Who to Invite,

You can have any type of wedding you wish and invite anyone you wish. If you want to invite everyone on your side of the family, do so. It is your budget that will dictate how many guests you invite.

You may want to send save the date cards out as soon as you set the guest list and date.

Best wishes,
