     my second his first

i got married 4 years ago and separated 18 mos later. i married b/c we had a child which was the wrong reason and it didnt work out. it was a big event however. i met my fiance shortly after my x and i separated and am head over heels in love this time we now have a beautiful baby girl together but she is not the reason i want to marry him. i am truly in love this time and never want to be with anyone else. i was so excited when we got engaged but he wants to set the date and im apprehensive about what kind of wedding it should be. he and his family who i love want a big wedding. ive heard its okay to have a big deal the second time around nowadays but i have an old fashiond family that doesnt feel the same. with the exception of my mom and brother, i am not close at all to any of my family. there was a falling out with my mom and her brothers and sisters years ago so as a result, ive always felt awkward and uncomfortable around my aunts and uncles. to make a long story short, if we do have a big wedding, i dont want to include them but my mom, my fiance, and his parents say we should. what is apropriate to do in this sort of a situation? i especially dont want any gifts or money from them. HELP!!!!
