     shower invites for second wedding

This is my first marriage and his second marriage. I am making the invite list for my shower and want to invite his close relatives like mom, gma, sisters, aunts, and cousins. Since they already gave presents at his first wdding 10 years ago, is it considered weird to invite them to the shower for his second wedding?

If you are having a shower for a second wedding and you need to supply the hostess with a guest list you may include any friends and family however, if any of the people on this list have already been to a shower for either the bride or the groom (before this shower) then they are not expected to bring a gift.
