     shower responsibilities

My brother is getting married for the second time. It is her first marriage. Their wedding is out of town and the bride's family has decided to have a shower. What, if any, are the responsibilities of our family for the shower?

Well, you're not hosting the shower so you have no responsibility besides attending and bringing a gift, if you're invited. Just as an aside; it is not considered proper for family members to host a bridal shower unless they are a member of the bridal party.
