Dear Jenny:

Congratulations on finding love again but, I'm sorry to tell you, parents are not obligated to pay for their children's weddings, even first time around.

If your parents aren't offering...please don't ask. You and your intended should host a wedding you both can afford. There are many ways to host a wedding on a low budget. Do a search right on this board or look under the money saving category for more ideas on how to save money on a wedding.

Try www.gettingremarried.com for more ideas for second weddings too.
