Best man in limo with bride and groom

Crazy I am confused! My husband is the Best man for his son's wedding. I am his step-mother (the children lived with us) "our" son told us that his dad would be riding in the limo with them. Do I call a taxi? or perhaps the hotel we'll be staying in provides shuttle services. I am not particularly fond of driving in a strange city--alone!

My husband and I will drive to the city in our own car, but the wedding is in the evening and we will be spending the night at a nearby hotel. I'll do what I have to do to get to the wedding and to the reception. I am just afraid that the hotel won't have shuttle services at the time I'd need to be brought to church for wedding and to the country club for the reception. help?

Call the hotel you plan on staying at. Ask whether they can shuttle you to the hotel, ceremony, reception and back. If they are hosting guests for this wedding, then there is probably some special arrangement in place.

If not, here is my recommendation. Once you arrive in the wedding city, buy a local city map. Take a test run during the daytime from the hotel to the Ceremony and Reception sites. This way, you will be familiar with the routes and perhaps more confident about traveling around a new city. You'll have your husband to ride back to the hotel with you after the reception.

I am not a big fan of taking a taxi alone in an unfamiliar city. Driving seems much better. But that is just my opinion.
