My question is whether you require the wedding party to pay for the stretch hummer you want. My sister is getting married and has 14 people in her wedding party, including the bride and groom. She has required all participants to pay $60.00 dollars each (she says it cost $800.00 total) to ride in the hummer. She is requiring that the entire bridal party ride in the hummer but she did not ask before renting the hummer, just made it a mandatory cost. Is this traditional and even right to ask?
Thanks!

Re: [hikerchick12] Wedding party paying for stretch hummer?

Absolutely not, this is not traditional. Nor, is it mandatory. Transportation of this sort is the responsibility of the couple, not the wedding party. So, if your sister wants to ride luxury style in a stretch hummer, then the bill is her's to foot. If she cannot pay for it, then she needs to stick with something that is more in line with what she can afford and that may mean everybody cannot ride together.

I couldn't agree more. This is her expense. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
