What time for limo to show?

My fiancee and I are planning our wedding at 4:00 pm. The service will last approx. 30 minutes and the cocktail hour is to begin at 6:00. We are having a receiving line as well as pictures being taken at the church. We are figuring that will all be done by 5:30 pm at the latest. We are having the limo meet us at the church to take us to a location for pictures and then to the reception. We can't figure out what time to have the limo be at the church since there is a 3 hour minimum and it seems we will need them from 5-7??? What should we do?

Hello Kristyeric,

Why not have the limo pick you and the bridesmaids up at 3 take you to church then get you to the reception by 6. That way you can use the 3 hours completely.

We are going to have pictures taken from 5:30-6:30 while the guest enjoy the social hour. We will probably not get to the reception until approx. 6:30 or 7:00..........

I recommend the limousine be on location at the church by 4:30pm the latest. Although the ceremony will last until 5:00, you need the comfort of knowing that once the ceremony , pictures and receiving line ends, that your limousine will be prepared for you outside the church, rather than pulling up in the nick of time. This will now give you service from 5pm-7pm . Although you will only need 2 hours , customarily you will still be billed for 3. So you can technically request him as early as 4pm.
