     Absentee bridesmaid dress fittings

My future husband's daughter is a bridesmaid in our wedding. We ordered dresses but she will be away at college when the dresses come in and will not be able to be present for fittings. Should her dress be shipped to her so that she can have any alterations done? She will not be home until 3 days prior to the wedding.

Thanks

That would be the most effective and convenient method. It's best not to wait until 3 days prior to the wedding.

I agree. Allow a few weeks for alterations, at least.
